BTCCSquare news:

Lithuania's central bank has formally requested Robinhood Markets Inc. to disclose detailed mechanics of its tokenized stock products tied to OpenAI and SpaceX. The financial regulator seeks clarity on both the structural framework of these digital instruments and the marketing language used to promote them to EU investors.

Giedrius Šniukas, spokesperson for the Bank of Lithuania, emphasized the need for "clear, fair, and non-misleading" communications before determining the products' legality. Robinhood operates under both brokerage and crypto service licenses issued by the EU, placing it under the bank's supervisory scope.

The inquiry follows OpenAI's public disavowal of any involvement with Robinhood's June 30 product launch. The trading platform introduced tokenized equity offerings for European users, including assets purportedly linked to privately-held tech giants—a MOVE now under regulatory scrutiny.
